Yesterday, I ran a half marathon—and scored a personal best time—so my sister made dinner to celebrate. (PS…said sister runs entire marathons at a notably faster clip, I mean MUCH faster – like she finished the 2007 Los Angeles Marathon almost an entire hour before yours truly.) Take a look at that Cheddar Corn Soufflé. It’s like it came down on a beam of light! Check out how expertly she folds the egg whites into the cheesey base:
And that’s not all. She also whipped up a saffron aioli which she drizzled over asparagus, grilled courtesy of Mr Foodinista:
I can’t even begin to describe how absolutely delicious this dinner was. The best of 2010! Kind of makes you want to run 13.1 miles, doesn’t it?
