If you’ve seen FROST/NIXON—The Foodinista’s pick for Best Picture—you’ll undoubtedly agree that the classic men’s Gucci loafer with silver snaffle plays a pivotal supporting role. Los Angeles restaurants also make the scene, with nods to the original Hollywood power restaurant, Ma Maison bistro on Melrose, as well as takeout from Nate’n Al’s and Trader Vics delivered to Suite 817 in the Beverly Hilton. There’s also a powerful scene involving a cheeseburger, but I’ll say no more.
